Young James "Y.J." Porterfield Obituary (1935

Young James "Y.J." Porterfield, 77, of Hapeville, died Sunday, March 17, 2013. Y.J., was a retired truck driver with Yellow Truck Lines. He was a Navy Veteran, having served on the Kula-Gulf, and was a proud member of AA, having celebrated 39 years of sobriety on February 17th. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Clark Porterfield; his "babies", Gabby Sue and Biscuit, and preceded in death by two other babies, Bud and Roscoe. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20th in our chapel. Interment will follow at The Westview Cemetery, West End.
