William S. Robins

William S. "Bill" Robins, 89, of College Park, died Monday, September 14, 2015. Bill was a retired Executive Vice President of Accounting for the Shell Oil Corporation, a Navy Veteran during World War II, and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Southwest Atlanta. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Ware Robins; their children, Denise & Gene Dettmering of Newnan, and Mark & Lisa Robins of Daytona, Florida; a sister, Dorothy Lemming; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17th at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2840 Metropolitan Parkway, SW, Atlanta, GA 30315, with Reverend Randy Strickland officiating. Remains will be placed in state at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Bill's memory. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
