William Oscar Daniel, Sr.

William O. "Bill" Daniel, Sr., 91, of Forest Park, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his home. Bill was retired from the U.S. Army as a Staff Sargent, and from the Naval Air Station in Atlanta as a Ground Control Officer. He is survived by his wife, Lena Dobbin Daniel; children, Billy Daniel, Bobby Daniel, Ruby Ann Cox, and Diana Daniel; brothers, Charles Daniel, Herbert Daniel, and Jack Daniel; a sister, Merle Emory; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24th at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, with Reverend Darwin Caldwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Over & Above" fund of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, 1150 Jefferson Avenue, East Point, GA 30344.
