Thelma Lois Tucker

Thelma Lois Tucker, 91, of Barnesville, died Friday, May 25, 2012. Ms. Tucker was preceded in death by a husband, Robert Harrington, her life partner, Richard Sanders, and a daughter Helen Harrington Youngblood. She is survived by her children, Eddie Harrington, Richard Sanders, Rodney & Joanie Sanders, Keith & Heather Sanders, and Claudia Sanders; two brothers, Douglas Tucker and Donnie Tucker; two sisters, Evelyn Buchanan, and Millie Smith; eleven grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29th in our chapel. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. EDT at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Newell, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
