Shirely Pittman Barnes

Shirley Pittman Barnes, 87, of Stockbridge, died Monday, May 13, 2019. Shirley was a retired Dietician with Kindercare Child Development Centers for over 30 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Barnes, and a son Mark Melton, she is survived by children, Tim & Vicki Melton, and Tracy Morgan; her grandchildren, Blake & Sam Morgan, Kayle Morgan, and Zack Morgan; a great grandson, Mason Morgan; her brother, Donald (Butch) and Jenny Pittman; and her sisters, Barbara Loudermilk, and Regina & Chuck Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16th in our chapel, with Wade Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon until the service hour at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
