Samuel Robert Hall Jr

–

Hapeville, Georgia

On August 5, 2026, Samuel "Bobby" Robert Hall Jr, our charismatic and smart leading man, took his final bow, leaving the stage a little dimmer in his absence. Hailing from the vibrant city of Atlanta, Robert was born on July 24, 1952, and spent the majority of his life spreading joy, wisdom, and a sense of humble charm to all those who had the good fortune to cross his path. After 14 wonderful years in Hapeville, Georgia, he retired in 2015 from a fulfilling career in Information Tech with Delta in College Park, GA. But Robert was not one to sit idle; his love for classic cars, antique shopping and costume jewelry kept him busy and his passion for theatre and Broadway music kept his spirit ever youthful.

In the words of William Shakespeare, "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players." Robert truly embodied this quote, living each day with a loving heart and a twinkle in his eye. He was a man who knew how to love deeply, especially when it came to his spouse, Davis Lee Duke, the person who mattered most to him. His journey was always shared with his beloved siblings, Angie Van Cleaf, Mike Hall, and Kris Hall, niece, nephews, cousins, a host of family and friends. He now joins his parents, Samuel Hall Sr and Edna Hall, in peaceful rest.

Robert's final curtain call will be a private burial on Friday, August 14, 2026 at the Westview Cemetery Inc, 1680 Westview Drive Southwest, Atlanta, Georgia, 30310. Following the burial, the family will receive guests at the Celebration of Robert's Spectacular Life Ceremony at 2:00pm EDT at the Academy Theatre, 599 North Central Avenue, Hapeville, Georgia, 30354.

We encourage everyone who was touched by Robert's incredible performance in life to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Let's keep the spotlight on our star and remember him as he was: charismatic, humble, smart, and loving, an actor in the play of life who truly understood his role.
