Roger Dewayne Kirby entered into Rest on August 28,2023. He is preceded in deathby his parents, Jeff Mack Kirby & Lily W. Kirby, his oldest brother Maxon Kirby, and hisniece Ginger Kirby.

Roger is survived by his Son & Daughter in-law Roger & Angi Kirby of Clanton Alabama,his two adorable grandchildren Suesana & Olivia Kirby of Clanton Al., BrotherTerry (Lynn) Kirby of Buchanan, Ga, Blane (Denise) Kirby of Newnan, Ga,Timothy (Angela) Kirby of Mcdonough, Ga Myra (Billy) Burch of Hampton Ga. AndSherry Kirby of Stockbridge Ga and numerous nieces & nephews.Roger , Dewayne as we all called him, was the third oldest of 6 kids of Mack & Lilly Kirbyand spent most of his adult life in the Food Service Industry, He spent his latter yearsof his life helping his parents as a care giver, and also lending a helping hand forour oldest brother Maxon Kirby and his wife Sherry Kirby, in which the Kirbygreatly appreciated his assistance with the parents and the help he did assistingSherry with Maxon.

Dewayne was an avid sports fan, and loved the Dawgs, Falcons, and Braves morethan the 2 for 5-dollar Milkshake special at Jack's, which is saying a lot. And the factthat Georgia won the Natty Twice back-to-back, and the take down of Bama,was enough for the Lord to say, your race is run, come on home.

A Celebration of Dewayne's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30th in our chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
