Robert Paul Mcclung

Robert Paul McClung born June 15,1940, died May 21,2024, a longtime resident of Fayetteville, Ga died peacefully on May 21,2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lee McClung.

He worked in the airline industry for over 40 years. He retired from US Air in July 2002 as the ground operations supervisor. Robert "Bob" never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with people about their history. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling to car shows across the country.

His is survived by his children: Robert Steve McClung- Senoia, Ga, Stacey McClung-Jacen and husband James Jacen- Franklin, TN, brother, Randie McClung, Monroe, Ga, sisters, Sherian Smith, Macon, Ga, Deborah Collins, Macon, Ga; 3 grandchildren, Jamie DiCarlo, Penny Viljoen, Kali McClung; 8 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 31st in our chapel with Reverend Jeff Durham officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
