Montie Pound Hamrick Obituary (1935

Montie Pound Hamrick, 77, of Baptist Towers, Atlanta, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Montie was the former secretary for First Baptist Church of Hapeville. She is survived by her children, Robert & Joanna Griffin, and Beth & Bill Bellew, all of Bethlehem, PA, Barbara Mauldin of Jesup, GA, and Walter & Michelle Hamrick of Carrollton; a sister, Mary Alice McCannon of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Jason Alexander, Jacqueline & Joe LaVignera, Lee & Stacy Gressett, and Sammy Higgins; great grandchildren, Eli Gressett, Kaitlyn and Tyler LaVignera. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 28th in our chapel with Reverends Darwin Caldwell and Ray Kuykendall officiating. Interment will follow at The Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Assn., Atlanta, GA Office, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329-2012. Visitation will be Friday from 12 Noon until the service hour at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville.
