Leeona Bush Dunlap

LeeOna Bush Dunlap, 94, of Hapeville, died Monday, April 15, 2013. Mrs. Dunlap, the widow of Guy Cecil Dunlap, is remembered by long time residents not only as friendly face at Russsell Cleaners in Hapeville but also as a Hairstylist who made house calls to ladies who were homebound. LeeOna Dunlap was fiesty, strong, and loving. She loved her Family, her Lord, and her Church. She was the former pianist, organist and a Sunday School Teacher at Stewart Avenue Baptist Church, former pianist and teacher in the Adult 5 Sunday School Department at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, and was a volunteer at the Joyful Noise Christian Supper Club in East Point. She is survived by her children, Charlotte Rentz, and Tommy & Carole Dunlap; and a granddaughter, Tracy Dunlap. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18th in our chapel with Reverend Darwin Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at The Westview Cemetery in West End. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.
