Jorge Lozada

–

McDonough, Georgia

Jorge Lozada, affectionately known as Bolillo, was a man who embodied the spirit of resilience, passion, and a love for life. He was born on August 19, 1985 in Puebla, Mexico and transitioned into eternal rest on June 13, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. A passionate landscaper by trade, Jorge found beauty in the natural world and embraced the opportunity to mold it into something breathtaking. As Jorge once said, "In every tree, there is a secret; in every flower, a story."

Known for his infectious laughter, adventurous spirit, and warm heart, Jorge was a beloved figure in the local Motorcycle Club L.A.M.A. where he held the respected position of Senior Road Captain. Early morning rides at 4am were his favorite, the world quiet and serene before the first light of dawn. Often, he would return late, the sun setting behind him as he came back from the mountains or off road. Rain or shine, he was always on the road, the open paths of Georgia his second home. His love for motorcycles and the open road was not just a hobby, but a way of life. He made every journey, no matter how mundane, an adventure.

He was an outstanding employee at Shockley as a Landscaper for the last five years. He worked side by side with his father. We often joked that he never worked because he was always taking pictures in the work machinery. That was his way of "supervising".

Jorge was a devoted husband to his wife, Wilma Ortiz, known as Burbu, who he married on February 22, 2020. They were "Ride or Die" partners. Their love story was one of mutual respect, shared laughter, and unspoken understanding. He was the loving son of Jorge Lozada Sr and Maria Vazquez, and a cherished brother to Maribel, Gabriela, and Norma Lozada. His family was his pride and joy, and he always found ways to show his love and appreciation for them. His memory will forever live on in their hearts and the countless lives he touched.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "It is not length of life, but depth of life.” Jorge Lozada lived a life of depth, filled with love, adventure, and unfading passion. His spirit and zest for life will continue to inspire those who knew him. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Jorge on the memorial page. This is not an end, but a celebration of a life well-lived. We honor Jorge's legacy and remember the joy he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Jorge. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit rides on.
