Isla Mae Chronister Obituary (1909

Isla Mae Chronister, 103 years old, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Budd Terrace at Wesley Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Emory Chronister, Sr. She had been a member of Hapeville First Baptist Church since 1944. She was a member of the Hapeville Historical Society and Fellowship of Christian Airline Personnel. She was employed by Fulton County Food Service and after retiring she joined the Greyhound Travel Club as an escort. She is survived by her children; Lazelle Reagan, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Jo Ann)Hinton, Mr. & Mrs. Emory (Diana) Chronister,nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nephew, Larry (Marlene) Gray, as well as other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, June 4th from 10:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, 736 S. Central Avenue, Hapeville, GA 30354. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
