Helen Gibson Facemire

Helen Mae Facemire, 95, died April 15, 2014 in Cumming Nursing Center, Cumming, GA. Born September 15, 1918 in Randolph Co., WV to Delphia Wyant Gibson and Emerson Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Inetta Fortney Dodson, sisters: Cleo, Rosalie, Mary Virginia, Mamie and Dorothy; brother: Gordon (Jack). Survived by daughters, JuWanna Snyder Fortney (Charleston, WV) and Kathy Butcher (Cumming, GA) and son, Frelon (Butch) Facemire (Murphy, NC), 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A committal service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday with her church family at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date in Mrs. Facemire's native West Virginia. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church, 2840 Metropolitan Pkwy, SW, Atlanta, GA 30315 or Crossroads Hospice.
