Geraldine "Gerry" Landrum-Barge

Geraldine "Gerry" Landrum-Barge, 88, of Hapeville, died Thursday, December 19, 2013. Gerri was a retired Legal Researcher for the State of Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. She was a member of the Hapeville Historical Society, the Happy H.U.M.S., Hapeville First United Methodist Church, where she served as Church Historian from 1956 until present, and had been elected Hapeville Woman of the Year in 1996. She is survived by her husband, Miles Barge; a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby & Debra Landrum; grandchildren, Kellie Coker and Rebecca Rood; great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Payden Rood, Addyson, Tyler, Ethan, and Destiny Coker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23rd at Hapeville First United Methodist Church, 3510 Atlanta Ave., Hapeville, GA 30354, with remains placed in state at 12 Noon. Rev. Paige Pritchard and Rev. Dr. Rebecca Duke-Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hapeville First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
