Dorothy Gillis Smith

Dorothy Gillis Smith, 83, of Union City, died Monday, October 29, 2012. Mrs. Smith, a retired Bookkeeper for Sears Department Stores, is survived by her children, Michael & Rella Smith, Stephen & Michelle Smith, Beverly & Ronald Guthrie, Terry & Kelly Ransom, Meloney & Enoch Webb; a brother, Henry Brannon; sisters, Patricia Thomas, Frances Blanton, and Anna Jean Higgins; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3rd in our chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
