Dorothy S. Rawlins

Dorothy S. "Dot" Rawlins, 97, of Hapeville, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020. Dot was a U.S. Navy Yeoman Second Class During World War II, a retired Grammar School Teacher with the Fulton County School System, and a longtime member of Hapeville First Baptist Church. She is survived by her family, Judy & Bob Ylla, Charles Garmany; grandchildren, Chuck Garmany, Anna Clark; six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; as well as her church family and community. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13th in our chapel, with Dr. J.W. Wallis officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville. In lieu of flowers, Dot's request was to have memorial contributions made to Hapeville First Baptist Church, 612 College Street, Hapeville, GA 30354. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
