Barbara Fuller Sherman

Barbara Fuller Sherman, 81, of Stockbridge, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Barbara was a retired Teacher with Jodeco Academy Early Learning, and an active member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Sherman, she is survived by her children, Donna Colkitt, Tracy Richerson, Jimmy & Casey Sherman, and Allen & Valerie Sherman; a granddaughter, Jamie Sherman; her siblings, Raymond Fuller, Joey & Helen Fuller, Brenda Fuller; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17th in our chapel, with Reverends Darwin Caldwell and Rusty Couch officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, 1150 Jefferson Avenue, East Point, GA 30344. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville. 404-761-2171
