Alton F. "Toby" Mccarley

Alton F. "Toby" McCarley, 84, of East Point, died Sunday, November 02, 2014. Toby was a retired Train Operator with MARTA, and a member of the East Point Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lumpkin McCarley, and a son, Richard Lee McCarley. Surviving are his daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Ponder, and Sandra & Barry Robinson; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara & Gene Worley; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and his faithful companion, Dollie. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, November 5th in our chapel, with Reverend J. Edgar Waters officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville, 404-761-2171
